Terms and Conditions
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms apply when you use cachewatch.co.uk, download the free Cache Watch plugin, or buy a Cache Watch PRO subscription. Please read them before you buy. If anything is unclear, email us before you go ahead.
1. Who we are
FCB Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17483665. Registered office: 27 Mollands, Basildon, SS16 4LD, United Kingdom. Email: hello@fcbdigital.co.uk.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean FCB Digital Ltd. "You" means the person or business using the site or buying a subscription.
2. The products
Cache Watch (free) is a WordPress plugin you can download and use at no cost. It is provided as it is, without support or any promise about how it will perform.
Cache Watch PRO is a paid add-on for the free plugin. A subscription gives you a licence key that unlocks the PRO features on the number of WordPress sites included in your plan, access to PRO downloads and updates while the subscription is active, and a customer account to manage it.
The code of both plugins is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL), the same licence WordPress itself uses. The GPL governs your rights in the plugin code itself. Your Cache Watch PRO subscription is what you pay for: these terms govern it, along with the licence key, the update service and your account.
3. Your account
Keep your password and licence key private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it. You must be at least 18, or using the service on behalf of a business, to buy a subscription.
4. Price and payment
Cache Watch PRO is sold as yearly plans: Single site (1 site) at £19 per year, Agency (up to 100 sites) at £99 per year and Unlimited (no site limit) at £199 per year. Prices include any VAT that applies. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
For a limited time we may also sell a plan as a lifetime licence, for one payment instead of a yearly subscription. The offer, its price and its end date are shown on the site and at checkout. A lifetime licence never renews and is never charged again. It covers the sites in its plan, PRO downloads, updates and support for as long as we offer Cache Watch PRO, not for any fixed number of years. Lifetime licences bought during an offer keep these terms after the offer ends.
From time to time we may offer a discount, such as a launch offer. Unless the offer says otherwise, a discount applies to your first year only, and your subscription then renews at the standard yearly price for your plan shown above and at checkout.
You can move to a bigger plan at any time in the billing portal. You pay the difference for the rest of your current year straight away, and your renewal date stays the same. A move to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal. Payments are taken securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
We may change the price for future renewals. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
5. Automatic renewal and cancelling
Your subscription renews automatically every year on the anniversary of your purchase, and your card is charged unless you cancel first. You can cancel at any time from your customer dashboard (Manage billing), which opens the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the year you have paid for, then stops renewing. PRO features pause when it ends; the free plugin keeps working.
A lifetime licence is not a subscription, so it does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.
6. Your right to cancel and refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK, you can cancel your first purchase within 14 days of buying it and get a full refund. Email hello@fcbdigital.co.uk with your account email to do this. We will refund you within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
After the first 14 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise or the service has not worked as described. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current year. If a lifetime licence is refunded, its licence key stops working. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Using your licence
Your subscription covers up to the number of WordPress sites included in your plan, which you or your business own or manage for clients. You can remove a site from your dashboard or the plugin to free up its place. Please do not publish, share or resell your licence key, or use it to give access to people outside your business. We may deactivate a key that has been shared publicly or is being misused, and we will tell you if we do.
8. Updates and availability
While your subscription is active, you can download the current PRO version and your sites can update automatically. We aim to keep the store, the licence service and the update service available all the time, but we cannot promise they will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or problems outside our control. We may improve, change or remove features in future versions.
9. Your responsibilities
Cache Watch clears and refreshes caches on your sites. Keep backups of your sites, test changes before relying on them, and make sure you have permission to manage any site where you install the plugins. Do not use the site or the plugins to break the law, attack other systems or interfere with the service.
10. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
If you are a business customer, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to a business customer for anything arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for losses to a business you run. We only supply the products for domestic and private use, or for use in a business under the business terms above.
The free plugin is provided free of charge and without warranty, as described in its GPL licence.
11. Ending your access
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms in a serious way, for example by sharing a licence key publicly or not paying. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new purchases from the date shown above. If a change affects an active subscription in a significant way, we will email you before it applies, and you can cancel if you do not agree.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out.
